Poylaa is a remote alt school committed to teaching children the skills that traditional schools often overlook. 

🔑 Our course is built on five principles:

1️⃣ Learning by doing – We believe in hands-on learning to help kids retain information better.

2️⃣ Dynamic Curriculum – Our program is designed to avoid the rat race and keep kids engaged.

3️⃣ Real-World Activities, Case Studies, and Projects – We use real-life examples and scenarios to help kids apply what they’ve learned.

4️⃣ First Principle Thinking – Our approach emphasizes the importance of understanding the fundamental concepts of a subject.

5️⃣ Growth Mindset – We encourage kids to see challenges as opportunities for growth and learning.

The duration of Poylaa’s courses varies. Our first course, an integrated skill course consisting of critical thinking, leadership, financial literacy, communication skills, and academic skills, lasts for 100 days.

In general, Poylaa is designed for children between the ages of 5 – 18 years old. But we do have certain courses which are designed for certain specific age groups.

The daily time commitment for Poylaa’s courses is usually around 30 minutes per day. It may vary from kid to kid.

Yes, Poylaa’s curriculum is flexible. Children can perform the tasks at any time during the day. If a day is missed, your child can do it later. 
Though the course program is 7 days, you will have full access for 7 days.

No, there is no additional screen-time for children as the tasks can be performed offline.
The screen time is only for the parent/ guardian to understand the daily tasks and activities.

Parents or elders can guide their children through the learning program. You can connect with Poylaa mentors for any doubts or queries.

Poylaa’s Integrated Course One is designed to teach children real-world skills such as critical thinking, leadership, financial literacy, communication skills, and academic/ productivity skills. 

Traditional schools often focus on academic knowledge, such as mathematics, science, literature, and history. While these subjects are important, they do not necessarily prepare students for the real world.

For example, financial literacy is a skill that is often overlooked in traditional schools. Students are not taught how to manage their finances, invest their money, or understand basic financial concepts.

This lack of financial education can lead to poor financial decisions and debt later in life.

Another example is communication skills. While traditional schools may teach students how to read and write, they do not always emphasize the importance of effective communication skills.

In the real world, communication skills are critical for success in personal and professional relationships. Poylaa focuses on teaching students how to communicate effectively, including public speaking, writing, and active listening.
